TANDEM SKYDIVING
WHAT IS TANDEM SKYDIVING?
With less than 30 minutes training you can do your first jump, harnessed to one of our professional skydiving instructors.
You’ll be securely connected to one of our highly trained instructors using a harness system specifically designed for tandem skydiving. Together, you’ll enjoy the aircraft ride to your exit altitude – 14,000ft! You and your instructor will then step into freefall, where you’ll reach speeds of over 120mph—all under the careful control of your instructor.
All you have to do is enjoy that skydive —we’ll take care of the rest!
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
What are the steps to actually..stepping out of a plane? We’ve broken the process down into four easy steps so you know what you to expect on the day you come to jump with us. Of course, if you have questions, just call.
Step 1
Arrival & Check-In
Welcome to Music City Skydiving – congratulations on taking that first step! Once you arrive you’ll check-in with our manifest team, complete any required paperwork, and get ready to take your skydive.
Step 2
Safety Brief & Harnessing
Grab your gear! Your instructor will outfit you with a harness and goggles. The harness connects directly to your instructor’s parachute system, which is designed specifically for tandem skydiving.
Step 3
Aircraft Ride & Jump!
Next, you’ll board the aircraft and ride with your instructor to 14,000ft. When it’s time, you’ll exit together and experience the incredible rush of freefall. Don’t forget to smile if you’ve added photos or video!
Step 4
Parachute Ride & Landing
Your instructor will deploy the parachute and the experience slows into a smooth, scenic canopy ride. You’ll glide back toward the landing area while your instructor shows you how the parachute flies, point out the dropzone below, before a gentle landing.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR SKYDIVE
Leave those crocs and flip flops at home. Wear close-toed shoes and comfortable clothing
Plan to spend a few hours with us. Your reservation time isn’t necessarily jump time.
Make sure you bring your valid, government issued photo ID. By law all skydivers need to be 18 years old.
Wait to celebrate. No alcohol before your skydive (but feel free to celebrate afterwards!)
Bring your friends and family! They’re all welcome to watch or even make a jump!
